Hey Everyone

I’ve got a quick one for you tonight.  I’ve made my card for two challenges – Anne Marie’s colour challenge at The Paper Players and the sketch challenge at Mojo Monday.  Here’s their inspiration pics:

I went hunting for any DSP that had Old Olive in it and came up with these ones, both are from Stampin’ Up!s Festival of Prints DSP Stack.  For a while there I couldn’t incorporate More Mustard onto my card but then decided I would use it for my flowers (pretty obvious that’s where I should use it, but it didn’t come to me straight away!) Here’s my card:

Hey Everyone

Lesley has provided us with this fabulous sketch at Merry Monday this week:

I’ve used some of my new DSP – Be of Good Cheer. This DSP showcases this gorgeous new In-Colour called Gumball Green – I may have overloaded my card with Gumball Green :). I did try and balance out the Gumball Green by using some retired Very Vanilla satin ribbon.

Hey Everyone

I’m back today with another card for a challenge.  This time it’s for the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.

 

I ummed and ahed over this one and spent ages wondering what to do with those circles.  Jen, you threw me with this sketch!  I pulled out my new Comfort Cafe DSP to let this gorgeous paper “do all the work” on this card – it kind of reminds me of Laura Ashley linen. Here’s my card:
