CAS(E) This Sketch #236

Hey Everyone

I was playing around leftover stamping on my desk on Monday (when I really should’ve been cleaning it up) and found some images I’ve previously coloured but never used.  I decided to put them together for an Aussie style Christmas card for this weeks sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge.

Take a look at their great sketch:

In Australia, our Christmas day weather can change in an instant, but generally it’s swimming weather.  Last Christmas we had three air conditioners going, two fans on and half of our guests in the pool!

With the pre-coloured images I found, I decided to create a fun beachy themed Christmas card.  Having all of the images coloured, this card took no time at all to put together. The beach-y images are from Stampin’ Up!s Day at the Beach and the Christmas wreath is from Holly Berry Happiness.  The “Christmas” sentiment that I have cut down is from Better Together and the “Is On It’s Way” is from Sunshine Sayings.

Freshly Made Sketches #250

Hey Everyone

This week our sketch hostess is one our talented Guest Designers at Freshly Made Sketches.  The very creative Cecile Ribon has created this cool sketch. Cecile’s cards are lovely and she seems to have an endless amount of dies (and she uses them to perfection!).

The sentiment and flowers I’ve used are from Stampin’ Ups! Sunshine Sayings and the leaves are cut with Flourish Thinlit Dies. I’ve lightly water coloured my flowers with Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum. Here’s my card:

CAS(E) This Sketch #183

Hey Everyone

I have no man cards in my stash!  I needed a card today and though I had at least one in the piles and piles of cards I have in my craft room – but there were none!  In the timeframe I had to make my card, I decided clean and simple was the way to go.  Case This Sketch is always the perfect place to start for my CAS cards.

The stripes in the background are from a stamp set called Work of Art.  The colours I’ve stamped them in are Early Espresso, Tip Tope Taupe and Crumb Cake.  The starfish is stamped in Early Espresso and Crumb Cake.  This stamp is from Picture Perfect and the sentiment is from Sunshine Sayings.  I’ve heat embossed this sentiment on Early Espresso cardstock.   Here’s my card:
