Mojo Monday #383 & Pals Paper Arts #238

Hey Everyone

Just a quick one tonight before I head off to bed.  My card is combined for this weeks sketch challenge at Mojo Monday and the colour challenge at Pals Paper Arts.

I’m not much of a heart user, mainly because I don’t have any heart dies as yet.  My hearts are hand cut, except for the stamped one from a retired Stampin’ Up! set called I Heart Hearts.  I must remember to put the heart dies from Stampin’ Up! on my next order.

Merry Monday Challenge #27

Hey Everyone

Lesley’s back from her month long blogging break (hope you had a wonderful holiday Lesley) and has provided us with the following sketch at Merry Monday this week:

I attended our Heartfelt Stampin’ Event on Saturday and then realised when I got home that I hadn’t completed this card for the challenge.  This would be the fastest card I’ve made in ages. I’ve gone monochromatic (surprise, surprise!) for my card because they were the colours I had on my desk. Back to the Heartfelt Stampin’ Event – I had a fantastic time and finally got to meet some of my fellow Just Add Ink DT members – Tina, Christine & Jo. Thanks girls for taking me in and allowing me to hang with you all!

Here’s my card:

I hope you have time to check out this weeks challenge and the gorgeous project from the Merry Makers by clicking here – and hopefully you’ll have time to join in.

Thanks for stopping by.

Merry Monday Challenge #24

Hey Everyone

I’m back with a 3rd post today!  It’s Monday, so that means it’s Merry Monday Challenge time again.  Here’s Lesley’s sketch this week – how you keep coming up with these amazing sketches Lesley?

Ok, so I’ve gone way out of my comfort zone making a card with punch art that I don’t normally do.  And, I’ve only used one stamp and that was for the greeting.  I had to show my husband and my two boys to see if they could make out what I was going for here – I hope you like it!  Here’s my card:

Head over to Merry Monday and check out what the girls have created this week ad if you have time, why don’ you join in? Thanks for taking a look.

Merry Monday Challenges #20

Hey Everyone

My second post today is for my weekly Christmas Card Challenge at Merry Monday Challenges.

I’ve used a retired Stampin’ Up! Christmas DSP called Ski Slope and teamed it with a stamp set of mine that has barely seen ink called Merry & Type. Here’s my card:

I stamped the baubles a second time and cut out the bottom bauble, added dazzling diamonds to it and raised it up.  Here’s a close up of my dazzling bauble (not sure if you can see the sparkliness of it!).

Thanks for stopping by.

Hey Everyone

The following sketch was provided by the very talented Jen at Freshly Made Sketches this week:

I really love this Twitterpated DSP because I’m such a fan of Cherry Cobbler. I’ve teamed it with Pool Party DSP and used the vines from Precious Butterflies which I haven’t inked in a long time.  Here’s my card:
