Hey Everyone
It’s Wednesday, so that means a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and guess what? It’s my turn to host again! This is my second sketch with Freshly Made Sketches and I might’ve managed to sneak a couple more layers in than I did in my last sketch 😉 Here’s what I came up with:
I made this card last weekend with some of my new toys. My card might look a little bit like this card I made last night because I used the same stamp set – Flower Shop – but unlike last nights card, I managed to keep this one clean. The designer series papers I’ve used are Stampin’ Up!s Modern Medley and the beautiful Coastal Cabana paper is from Eastern Elegance DSP. I have to tell you that I just LOVE this colour combination. To create the two-toned flower I firstly stamped the flower in Coastal Cabana ink and then took my blender pen to wipe away the ink from the centre of the flower. I then coloured the centre of the flower with my Basic Black marker. I’m sure there’s a name for this technique, but as I’m technique challenged, I can’t remember the name of it! Here’s my card:
I’d love to see what you create with my sketch, so head over to Freshly Made Sketches and link up a card. While you’re there, check out the gorgeous designs from the Clean Team.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
