Hey Everyone
Welcome to another Wednesday and a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. This week our fab sketch has been designed the amazing Jen Mitchell.
I gave myself a challenge with this card. On the corner of my desk, I have a pile of unused bits and pieces that I hold on to just in case I might use them on a future card. My mission was to see if I could create a card using only discarded products. Every image, die cut, DSP and sentiment was taken from this pile, layered and adhered to my card. Card done in less than 10 mins!
The butterfly I used for my card was fussy cut from Botanical Butterflies DSP. The spotted DSP was also from this DSP pack. The Mossy Meadow fussy cut leaves are from Jar Of Love – I had just the right amount for my card leftover from another project. I was thrilled that I had a Mossy Meadow sentiment from Petal Palette also sitting in the pile that I could use. The little round doily type diecut was cut with Chase Your Dreams Framelits Dies. The Highland Heather scalloped edge was cut with my Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.
I’m sure if I tried this again, I couldn’t match a thing. I had fun doing it and it was actually quite satisfying dipping into this pile.
The team at Freshly Made Sketches have created wonderful cards. Head over to the challenge and take a look at their gorgeous cards that will no doubt inspire you.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
