Freshly Made Sketches #184

Hey Everyone

It’s Wednesday again! Our sketch hostess at Freshly Made Sketches this week is the very talented Kim Singdahlsen.  Here is her fabulous sketch:

I haven’t used Four Feathers in a while so I inked it up for my card today.  I’ve used Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey combined with a strip of DSP from Stampin’ Up!s Park Lane.

Freshly Made Sketches #157

Hey Everyone

The lovely Amy O’Neill is our sketch hostess at Freshly Made Sketches this week.  Amy is so very creative and combines colours like no other.  Take a look at her blog and you’ll see her wonderful creations.  I just love the sketch Amy has created.

As you can see I’m still going through my blendabilities colouring phase and have once again used some flowers from Bloom with Hope.  The designer series papers I’ve used are from a DSP pack called Park Lane and the sentiment is from Blooming with Kindness.  Here’s my card:

The Paper Players Challenge #215

Hey Everyone

I had a day off work today so I headed out to my craft room to catch up on some design team commitments as well as make a card for this weeks sketch challenge at The Paper Players – take a look at Sandy’s fab sketch:

I felt I was overdue to make a man card and thought Sandy’s sketch worked perfectly for one.  Stampin’ Up!s Four Feathers is fast becoming one of my favourite stamp sets.  I’ve stamped the feathers in Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede.  I’ve used a retired stamp set called Off the Grid for the background and the sentiment is from a retired set called Afterthoughts.  My supply of these amazing buttons is slowly dwindling.  I was wondering if it would be rude to ask for the button back after I give the card to the recipient??? Or I might just have to give it to my husband just so I know I’ll get it back!  Here’s my card:

Freshly Made Sketches #154

Hey Everyone

I’ve kind of been a bit quiet on here lately. I’ve been out of action with a migraine that stayed way too long.  It annoys me when it cuts into my crafting time!  Lucky I made my card before it hit, as I would’ve had to sit out this week.  I didn’t want to miss Cindy’s sketch at Freshly Made Sketches as I think it’s totally fabulous! Head over to Cindy’s blog and check out her beautiful cards.

I opened a new-to-me pack of DSP for my card called Park Lane.  I’ve used the Daffodil Delight paper in the background.  I’ve teamed it with the black papers from Back to Black. The Stampin’ Up! stamps sets I’ve used are Serene Silhouettes, Papillion Potpourri and Petite Pairs.
