Dynamic Duos #7 & Mojo Monday #245

Hey Everyone

The challenge at Dynamic Duos this week is to create a project using the following colours:

The dessert option this week is to add ribbon – which I’ve done as I pretty much add ribbon to all my cards! My card is designed also for Julee’s great sketch at Mojo Monday this week:

I’ve revisited an stamp set that I haven’t used in ages – Just Believe – and I’m not even sure if one of them had even seen ink!  Here’s my card:

Just Add Ink #88 – Just Add A Die Cut

Hey Everyone

My card tonight is for the Just Add A Die Cut Challenge at Just Add Ink.  I started this card yesterday but held off finishing it until today for when I thought I would receive my order with some new die cuts – but sadly my order didn’t come so I’ve finished it off with what I had in my craft room 😦

I’ve used my scallop square die in the background and made a shadow box frame for the butterfly made from the beautiful wings embosslits die.  I stamped the frame with the flourish from Established Elegance and raised it up with dimensionals to give it extra height and the impression that it’s a shadow box.

Here’s a close up of the shadow box:

Sweet Stop Sketches #125 & Stampin Royalty #88

Hey Again

For my next card I’m combining two challenges again.  For the sketch below from The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge I’m using the colour palette from Stampin Royalty Challenge to create my card.  I’m the first to admit that brighter colours scare me, so I needed the sketch to give me a little guidance.

This is my card:

Colour Q Challenge #78

Hi All

This card today is for the Colour Q Challenge.  As soon as I saw the colours I knew I wanted to enter straight away as they’re right up my alley.

I made a card very similar to this my mums Breast Cancer Fundraiser last year, but have added more because I’ve got newer products.  I love Crumb Cake because it just goes with everything.

Products Used:
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White
Ink: Early Espresso, Certainly Celery, Pink Pirouette
Stamp Sets: Just Believe, SAB Bliss
Other Products: Pink Ribbon, Brad, Basic Rhinestones, Oval Punches

Thanks for stopping by.

See ya

Just Believe

Hi All

The following cards I made were for a workshop that I didn’t end up taking as I switched colours at the last minute.  When I first saw this stamp set I used it continuously until I Just Believed myself out!   The colours I’ve used are Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze and Whisper White.  What I like about this stamp is that you can create a different look by colouring in the flowers and the leaves with your markers.

This post was halfway through when I lost my internet connection and the connection is still extremely slow even now.  I’ll make this quick because I’ll probably lose the connection again.

Better go because this internet is driving me insane!

See ya
