Hey Everyone
Welcome to my blog and the latest Stampin’ Up! 2019 Artisan Design Blog Hop. The team have been busy creating more projects for you with the gorgeous products from the Christmastime Is Here Suite.
This exclusive, limited-time collection of festive, floral coordinating products has everything you need to share love, joy, and creativity this holiday season.
For out last hop I created the following projects that showcased the pretty Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper. All of the roses were either fussy cut or die cut from the papers.
This time around I wanted to show you how I’ve used the rose stamp from the Christmas Rose Stamp Set. You probably all know how much I love a flower stamp and fussy cutting…..so this stamp set is perfect for me.
I also wanted to show you the versatility of this suite, so in addition to a festive card, I created a card that can be given for any occasion.
The first card I created is a Christmas card. I added a strip of this rich paper from Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper. I then cut a Whisper White Cardstock lattice die cut under my floral image. The flower image from the Christmas Rose Stamp Set was stamped in Black Memento Ink and coloured with the following Blends – Cherry Cobbler, Mint Macaron, Ivory and Shaded Spruce. I then used my Roses Dies to cut the image. As much as I love fussy cutting, I also love the ease of cutting this image with a die. To finish off my card, I added some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots and bunched up some Gold 1/4″ Shimmer Ribbon to place under the sentiment.
For my second card, I knew I wanted to make a card for any occasion. I embossed the splatters from Artisan Textures Stamp Set with Gold Embossing Powder for the background. For something different, I stamped two images and fussy cut them down until I had just two roses. I coloured them with my Cherry Cobbler Blends making sure I had a deeper colour around the petal lines to give the roses definition. The leaves for these roses have been fussy cut from one of the papers from the Christmastime Is Here Specialty DSP. I also added a strip of DSP that was cut off at some point and was sitting on my desk. I always keep these strips so I can use them on other projects. The small piece of Gold Foil you can see was cut with one of the label dies in the Roses Dies pack. To let you in on a secret, this is also an off-cut from another project but you can’t tell it’s not the whole label. To make this card an any occasion card, I cut down the sentiment that I used on the festive card.
This suite has been available to demonstrators to buy for the last couple of weeks and are now available for everyone to purchase! These products are only available while stocks last, so make sure you get your order in soon so you don’t miss out on these bee-oot-iful products!
