Merry Monday Challenge #2

Hey Everyone

Lesley has come up with the following sketch for this weeks Merry Monday Challenge.  Check out her blog by clicking here and join in the fun.  I’ve gone with two of my favourites Christmas sets – Dasher and Lovely as a Tree (even though it’s not a traditional Christmas set – I use it as one).

Here’s my card:

colourQ Challenge #88

Hi Everyone

I didn’t play last weeks colourQ Challenge as I whimped out coz I seriously couldn’t make the colours work.  This weeks challenge was much more up my alley as they have used alot of my fave colours.

I have a workshop in a couple of weeks time and the ladies have asked me to make Christmas Cards.  I’m soooo not prepared for Christmas but when I saw these colours I thought I could make them work.  Who says Christmas has to be green, red and white???

When making this card, I had a reindeer issue.  I originally stamped the wet droplet looking stamp from French Foliage around the reindeer and it ended up looking like someone had taken shots at the poor bugger!!!  I had to trash that idea and start again.

Thanks for stopping by.
