Freshly Made Sketches #201

Hey Everyone

We had an amazing 340 entries for our 200th challenge at Freshly Made Sketches last week. Even though I didn’t get time to comment on every card, I saw every one of your cards and applaude your creativity.   It’s my turn to design our sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  Here’s what I came up with:

I’m working on my Christmas cards early so I won’t have to rush when December comes.  I came up with the following simple card:

Freshly Made Sketches #159

Hey Everyone

I’m typing this wondering where this year has gone…..  My son finished up his last day of high school today and I think I may be a tad emotional about it.  Seems like only yesterday he started primary school and now he’s about to head into the workforce!  Well, into the workforce after he attends schoolies first – not looking forward to him partying it up for 10 nights with half of his school in Rye. That little coastal town is going to hate this time of year!

Time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  This week the amazingly talented Jen Mitchell is our hostess.  Here’s her great sketch – so many possibilities with this one.

Because Christmas will be here before we know it, I’ve gone with another Christmas card. I decided it was time to create a shaker card so I’ve used the circle from the sketch to make a bauble shaker. The sentiment I’ve used is from Stampin’ Up!s Bright and Beautiful and the little snowflakes I’ve stamped in the shaker are from Endless Wishes.

Freshly Made Sketches #152

Hey Everyone

Wednesday’s mean a new sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.  This week the lovely Cindy Hall has created this versatile sketch that can be used as is, or I can easily see it flipped on it’s side.

I’ve gone with a Christmas card. I received some new goodies from Stampin’ Up!s Holiday Catalogue and I couldn’t wait to play with them.  The gorgeous star and sentiment are from one set I HAD to have straight away from the cattie – Bright and Beautiful. The strip of DSP I’ve used is from All is Calm Specialty DSP.  To finish off my card I’ve added some Lost Lagoon ribbon.

Before I forget we have some exciting news – our fabulous Guest Designer for August, Kim Singdahlsen, has agreed to stay on and become a Clean Team member! Yay!!! We’re so pleased you’re staying on Kim!  Head over to the challenge and check out all the gorgeous inspiration from the Clean Team.

Thanks for stopping by.
