Mojo Monday #299, Stampin’ Royalty #182 & Dynamic Duos #59

Hey Everyone

The card I’m sharing today is for three challenges – Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge. This week is to create a round or square card using the following sketch:

Mojo299Sketch

Stampin’ Royalty have a challenge where all you have to do is add stripes. I’ve added these in the form of this Basic Gray striped DSP.

And at Dynamic Duos Challenge their challenge this week is to create a project using Basic Gray and one other colour of your choice – I’ve gone with Always Artichoke.

I’ve used my all-time favourite stamp set, French Foliage, which is about to retire with our 2012-2013 Stampin’ Up Catalogue.  Can you believe our new catalogue goes live on Tuesday? I can’t wait!!! I’ve teamed the leaves with some acorns from a retired Stampin’ Up! stamp set called All Natural – I don’t even know how old it is, but it’s really old.  While I had that stamp set out, I’ve though I may as well use the sentiment from the same set. Here’s my card:

Merry Monday Challenge #37

Hey Everyone

It’s Monday, so that means there’s a new sketch for Lesley’s Merry Monday Challenge!  With only a few weeks left until Christmas this is a great opportunity to get your Christmas cards underway.

Here’s Lesley’s fabulous sketch this week:

I wanted a two-tone bauble but couldn’t find my Always Artichoke marker. So I stamped the image in Always Artichoke Ink and then used my blender pen to wipe away the colour from the centre of the bauble.  I then coloured the centre with my River Rocker marker.  I may not’ve completely wiped away all of the Always Artichoke so the remaining colour has mixed with the River Rock and left a marbling sort of effect.  I kind of liked it, so I kept it and used it on my card.  Here’s what I came up with:

We have two new Merry Makers joining the team this week – Susan Joyce and Allisa Chilton.  I’m a big fan of theirs and am thrilled that I will be designing alongside them.  Head over to the challenge and check out the gorgeous cards the Merry Makers have created this week.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

Dynamic Duos #19

Hey Everyone

It’s Sunday evening here so that means it’s time for my Sunday evening posts from my weekend of creating.  The colours at Dynamic Duos this week are colours that I haven’t used very often and I would have to say they’re colours I struggle with.

I’ve stamped the three leaves from my all-time favourite Stampin’ Up! stamp set – French Foliage.  I’ve fussy cut them out and dirtied them all up to hopefully resemble real leaves. Here’s my card:

Inspired by Stampin Inspiration Challenge #16

Hey Everyone

It’s school holidays here in Melbourne so I’ve had a bit of time to browse around and find a new challenge to me – Inspired by Stampin Inspiration Challenge.  As you know I’m addicted to challenges and after checking out the beautiful shabby cards the design team have made, I thought I’d give it a go too!

Here’s their sketch this week:

And a close up of my tag (I love tags and this one is a CASE of one I made previously that you can see by clicking here):
