Hey Everyone
I spent a lovely day yesterday wandering around Paperific (a great craft show in Melbourne) and met up with one of my fellow Just Add Inkers, Rochelle Blok. Rochelle is not only super creative, she is also a lovely person to chat to. I also caught up with a few of the Stampin’ Up! demos on the SU! stall. One of them was Simone Bartrum who is always lovely and even found a demo in Simone’s downline who lives about 10 minutes away from me. Her name is Rose and she is super sweet. I mentioned that I’m having a bit of a lull in my creating so I decided that after a bit of a clean up of my desk, I would enter a challenge just to get my juices going again.
I found this fabulous sketch at Create with Connie & Mary. I love everything about this sketch.

I seem to only use the black and white side of Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper. I thought was time to use the Melon Mambo side – even if it’s only a smidge of it. My flowers and leaves are created with Botanical Builder Framelits. The sentiment is one I had sitting on my desk and for the life of me, I can’t remember what set it’s from. If my craft room was in any sort of order, I might’ve found the stamp set! The background spots are from Swirly Bird. The centre of my flowers are Basic Pearls that I coloured with my retired blendabilities – had to use a variety of them just to get a colour similar to Melon Mambo. Here’s my card:

Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
