Hey Everyone
Welcome to Wednesday and a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. Take a look at this awesome sketch designed by the uber talented Jen Mitchell.

The stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! 2019 Occasions Catalogue on the top of my list was Wonderful Romance. This gorgeous stamp, with it’s spray of flowers and leaves, is perfect for colouring. The flowers were given a light watercolour with Highland Heather Ink. Because it was a tad hot in my craft room over the weekend, my glasses got a little foggy and I ended up with a bit of Highland Heather Ink in the centre of one of my flowers. Of course I’d already coloured the leaves and didn’t want to start the whole thing again. What to do? Grab my White Gel Pen and add a dob of white gel to the centre of the flower. Image saved! I then took my Black Journalling Pen to add definition lines to each of the petals. I coloured the leaves with Lemon Lime Twist Ink and then added some Old Olive Ink to base of the leaves to create depth.
I can’t tell you how happy I was when I saw the matching framelits to this stamp set. This framelit set is called Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies. Not only does the largest die cut around the outside of the stamp, it creates cutouts in areas that I wouldn’t be able to access by fussy cutting! I did however fussy cut the two leaves that I added to the top of the image. These leaves were given a darker shade of green to them – Mossy Meadow Ink. I mainly fussy cut images like these because I like a fine edge around my images. Another favourite die in this set is the doily type die that you can see under my spray of flowers. I know this will feature on so many cards that I create.
The sentiment I’ve used is also from this set. I added a strip of Lemon Lime Twist and Sahara Sand Cardstock under the sentiment. The Whisper White Cardstock in the background is embossed with my Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I then finished of my card with a Linen Thread bow and some sequins.

We would love for you to join us with this weeks sketch. The Design Team at Freshly Made Sketches have created wonderful inspiration for you. Pop over to the challenge and see what they’ve created.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
