Freshly Made Sketches #179

Hey Everyone

The wonderfully talented Amy O’Neill is this weeks sketch hostess at Freshly Made Sketches.  Love this design and know that I’ll be using it again.

I felt it was time for another masculine card and filled the main panel with circles. Here’s what I came up with:

Just Add Ink #126

Hey Everyone

I’m back with my card for this weeks Just Add Ink challenge!  Mae has designed this fabulous sketch and as you can see from my fellow Design Team Members cards – by using this layout you can achieve so many different looks.

My mission, at the moment, is to try and use up some of the DSPs that I’ve been hoarding.  I’ve been holding onto a lot of them as I didn’t want to use them up and not have them at hand anymore.

Check out the gorgeous cards the Design Team have created this week by heading over to the Just Add Ink challenge blog – I hope you can join us this week!

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

CASE Study Challenge #58 & Pals Paper Arts #112

Hey Everyone

After I finished this card I sat back and thought “there’s a lot going on in this one”, but I think it’s growing on me.  Initially I had the flower stamped from Field Flowers but it looked “too busy” with the flower raised up, so I ended up stamping directly onto the main panel with this flower from Simply Soft.

This card was chosen as a Top 3 Winner at The CASE Study Challenge.

I’ve combined challenges with this card – CASE Study Challenge where each month we get to CASE a muse – this month our muse is Julie Lacey.  This is her gorgeous card below:

And the second challenge I’m entering my card into is Pals Paper Arts where their Element of Style challenge is to create a card with lace.  The picture below was their inspiration for this challenge.

Sweet Stop Sketches #125 & Stampin Royalty #88

Hey Again

For my next card I’m combining two challenges again.  For the sketch below from The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge I’m using the colour palette from Stampin Royalty Challenge to create my card.  I’m the first to admit that brighter colours scare me, so I needed the sketch to give me a little guidance.

This is my card:

Pals Paper Arts #108 & Friday Mashup #21

Hey Everyone

I’m combining two challenges for this card – Pals Paper Arts CAS – Elements of Style – Soften the Edges for which they used this photo as inspiration.  I’ve been practising my clean and simple cards so this one came a bit easier.

And the second challenge I’m entering this card for is The Friday Mashup.  This week you can use either the sketch below or use dry embossing – or use both.  I’ve chosen to use the sketch.

Thanks for stopping by.
