Just Add Ink #423

Hey Everyone

There’s a new challenge for you to try at Just Add Ink.  Our challenge for you is to create a project using the colours below:

I saw these colours and thought easy peasy – except when I got to the Soft Suede.  After a few ideas (all bad), I decided to keep it to a minimum and use a smidge of it on my teddy and a small strip of it under the sentiment.

The images I’ve used on my card are from Stampin’ Up!s Moon Baby.  This sweet little image is one that I haven’t had a chance to ink up yet.  I’m trying to make sure I use most of the images at least once from all of my stamp sets.  I’ve found I gravitate towards the same ones all the time.

No DSP on this card as I couldn’t find one in my stash that I really loved to go with my image.  Instead I played around with layout until I found a fullness that I like on my cards.

I love the cards the Design Team have created.  Pop over to the challenge, but clicking here, to see what they’ve created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

Just Add Ink #370

Hey Everyone

It’s Friday here in Australia and it’s time for a new challenge at Just Add Ink.  This week is sketch week and I’m the sketch designer.  I’ve created the following sketch for you:

After yesterday’s baby card I decided to make another one.  I wanted to use Moon Baby, a Stampin’ Up! stamp set that hadn’t seen ink – until today.

I also used my Embossing Paste for a project that I actually liked.  My previous attempts have ended up in the bin……  I’ve used various stamps from Moon Baby and given them a light watercolour.  My moon baby is also lightly watercoloured with Soft Sky Ink and then fussy cut and raised with dimensionals.

The designer series paper is from the same DSP pack as I used yesterday.  It’s called Naturally Eclectic and and I like that it matches my Pattern Party Decorative Masks.

Here’s my card:

We would love it if you could join us with this challenge.  To inspire you, the design team have created gorgeous cards – head over to Just Add Ink and take a look.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers
