CAS(E) This Sketch #322

Hey Everyone

CAS(E) this Sketch has an awesome sketch this week.  Take a look at this very versatile sketch:

I’ve been wanting to try out different colours with the Everything Is Rosy Product Medley.  I adore all the colours in this medley, but I wanted to mix things up and try the flowers in Powder Pink and Pool Party Inks.  I’ve stamped the centre of the flowers with Crumb Cake Ink and then added Rose Gold Adhesive Backed Mirror Embellishments. The leaves are stamped in Pear Pizzazz Ink and fussy cut out.  I then added some Whisper White leaves and a strip of Rose Gold Foil Paper cut with my Everything Is Rosy Dies.  To add some texture, I embossed the background with my Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  After stamping my favourite sentiment from the Everything Is Rosy Stamp Set I layered everything together and my card was done.

Freshly Made Sketches #386

Hey Everyone

The Freshly Made Sketches Design Team have a new sketch challenge to play along with.  Our sketch designer is the super talented Jen Brum.  Jen’s sketch is fabulous as are her creations!

For my card I’ve used products from Stampin’ Up!s Everything Is Rosy Product Medley.  This exclusive medley is available to Demonstrators and Customers for the month of may.  One of the products I love from this medley is the Rose Gold Foil Paper.  I’ve cut a circle of this with my 2 1/2″ Circle Punch.  I then added the flowers and leaves which are printed die cuts.  All you have to do with pop them out from the sheet they come attached to and adhere them to your card.  I then attached the ribbons and sentiment from the Everything Is Rosy Stamp Set.  I added some Basic Pearls and my card was done in no-time! Love quick and easy cards!

Here’s my card:

We would love it if you played along. Pop over to Freshly Made Sketches and see what the team have created.

Freshly Made Sketches #385

Hey Everyone

It’s time for a new challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.  This weeks sketch has been designed by the wonderfully talented Kim Singdahlsen.

Stampin’ Up!s Everything is Rosy Product Medley will be available for demonstrators and customers to order from 1st May.  I’ve used the Everything is Rosy Stamp Set for my card and stamped the flowers and leaves in Melon Mambo, So Saffron, Pear Pizzaz and Old Olive Inks.  The sentiment I’ve used on my card is also from this stamp set – don’t you just love the words in this sentiment?

The die cut running down the side of my card is from the matching die set called Everything is Rosy Dies.  I’ve cut this in Whisper White Cardstock so the flowers stood out as the focal point on my card.

Here’s the card I created with the sketch:

We would love it if you could play along with Kim’s sketch.  Head over to Freshly Made Sketches and link up a card.  While you’re there, take a look at the wonderful inspiration that has been created by the design team.

Thanks for stopping by.
