Can you tell what my “theme of the day” was?  Spice Cake DSP has been used on all four of my cards. Prior to my cards today I’d only used it once before, so I was determined to use up my cardstock as I think I’m becoming a hoarder! 🙂

The Paper Players Challenge #90

Hey Again Everyone

My next card today is for the the pretty colour challenge at The Paper Players Challenge.  When I first saw this combo of colours by LeAnne I was a little unsure how to make them work them as I’m generally not a “blue” person, but I’m pretty pleased with how this came out in the end.

Here’s what I came up with:

I did stray from the colour combo a little as I’m on hols still and only have Night of Navy cardstock instead of Not Quite Navy and I only have Baja Breeze Seam Binding at this stage – I’ll be buying Pool Party in my next order.

Thanks for stopping by.

Create with Connie & Mary Challenge #194

Hey Everyone

For my card last week at Create with Connie and Mary I confessed I hadn’t opened my Everyday Enchantment DSP before that challenge.  This week my confession is that I soooooo wanted Spice Cake DSP, so when it came out here in Australia late last year I had to have it so I brought it straight away.  When I got it, I put it aside and haven’t opened it until today – that’s how much I wanted it!  Anyway enough of the confessions, here’s the sketch from this weeks Create with Connie & Mary Challenge:

And here’s my card:

Thanks for taking a look.

Create with Connie & Mary #193 & Deconstructed Sketch #43

Hey Everyone

Hope everyone’s having a wonderful weekend?  I’ve combined two challenges today for my card – the colour challenge at Create with Connie & Mary:

And I needed a little help with these colours, so I’m using the sketch from The Deconstructed Sketch

Here’s my card and my confession – I think I maybe the only Stampin’ Up! demonstrator who has just opened her packet of Everyday Enchantment DSP for this challenge – shocking, I know!

Thanks for stopping by.

Play Date Cafe Challenge #122

Hey Everyone

I made this card for the colour challenge at The Play Date Cafe Challenge and for Spring has Sprung Challenge at The Paper Players, but I missed the closing time for The Paper Players as it seems to have closed a few hours earlier than when I usually enter – oh well, I’ll be earlier next week.

The colours at The Play Date Cafe Challenge are gorgeous together and one’s I’ve used recently so I knew what I was going do when I saw them.

Here’s their inspiration pic:
