Freshly Made Sketches #456

Hey Everyone

There’s a new sketch available over at Freshly Made Sketches for you to play along with. This week our sketch has been designed by the uber talented Jen Timko!

Here’s her fab sketch:

I’ve been totally distracted this week catching up on Netflix and sleeping in that I almost forgot to create a card for this challenge. I’m not overly loving this card, but it was all I could put together inbetween watching Emily in Paris…..

When you’re distracted and not really focussed on creating, let texture, DSP and die cuts do all the work! The Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper die cuts are what I used as the main focus on my card. I combined them with some pretty DSP from Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper pack.

After embossing the background Whisper White Cardstock with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder, I layered it all together for a quick and easy Christmas Card.

Here’s the card I created:

The team at Freshly Made Sketches have created wonderful cards. Head over to the challenge and see what they’ve created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

Narelle

  1. This is amazing. How can you not love it?? I was behind on mine this week too, and struggled a bit – just due to schedule. Anyway, I love your gold and the texture in the background!

  2. This is gorgeous~ loving the gold! And I have watched waaaay too much Netflix during this stupid pandemic. Emily in Paris is on my list!

  3. A very elegant card Narelle! I just love the colours and those gorgeous die cuts! And seriously how do I not have that embossing folder?! I have never heard of Emily in Paris. I rarely watch TV these days…podcasts however….!!!
