Freshly Made Sketches #448

Hey Everyone

It’s Wednesday, so that means a new challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.  This week our sketch has been designed by the wonderfully talented Jennifer Brum. Her creations are always just stunning and super clean.

Stampin’ Up! have gorgeous packs of designer series papers that have wonderful images made for fussy cutting.  These perfectly coloured leaves are from the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper pack. The strip of DSP I’ve added behind these leaves is also from this pack.

The sentiment I chose to add is from the matching stamp set called Forever Fern Stamp Set. I’ve got a friend in mind for this card who makes me smile every day at work. I coloured the background with the Light Soft Sea Foam Blend and added some ink splatters in Garden Green Ink from the Forever Fern Stamp Set.

I then added some gems from the Flowers For Every Season Gems to tie in with my greenery.  Some Braided Linen Trim was added under the sentiment to match the Sahara Sand Cardstock base.

The team at Freshly Made Sketches have created awesome cards using this weeks sketch.  Pop over to the challenge and see what they’ve created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

Narelle

  1. You’ve put your amazing fussy-cutting skills to great use on this gorgeous card, Narelle! And I love all of the pretty details from the splatters against the soft background to the torn edge of paper.

  2. The ferns! So gorgeous! I can’t believe that you cut out those leaves – though I’m not sure why that shocks me!!! Everything about this card is just amazing!
