Freshly Made Sketches #446

Hey Everyone

It’s time for a new challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. This week our sketch has been designed by the wonderfully talented Linda Callahan.  She has created an awesome slimline sketch that she has left clean for us to choose our own layout.

I love the idea of this style of card! After I got my head around inches, I came up with the following card:

I chose one of my new Stampin’ Up! Stamp Sets called Poinsettia Petals to colours with various blends. This stamp set and all it’s coordinating products are available to order from the August-December Mini Catalogue on 3rd August. I also cut poinsettia flowers and leaves with the matching Poinsettia Dies. The sentiment I’ve added to my card is also from the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set – don’t you just love a pretty font like this one?

In the background I’ve added a piece of Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper.  The papers in this pack are gorgeous and have a felt feel to the raised patterns. I think they really add elegance to any card!  More pretties from this suite, are the Beaded Pearls that I’ve adhered to the centre of the flowers. Another elegant touch without me doing very much at all.

The team have created awesome cards with this weeks challenge. Head over to Freshly Made Sketches and see what they girls have created!

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

Narelle
