Hey Everyone
Welcome to my blog and the latest Stampin’ Up! Design Team Blog Hop!
This month we are featuring products from the really pretty Blossoms In Bloom Bundle. This bundle consists of the Blossoms In Bloom Stamp Set and the matching Many Layered Blossoms Dies.
I’ve created two cards with this bundle – my first card features both the stamp set and the dies and the second card features the dies.
For my first card I stamped the flower image in Pool Party Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. I took the outline flower die, the stamped flower image and lined up my plate and only ran it through a part of the image. This allowed me to create a partial die cut on the side of the image. I accentuated the partial die cut by raising this layer up, adding a strip of Basic Black Cardstock and a strip of Whisper White Cardstock that was embossed with the Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.
I ran a piece of Whisper White Cardstock with the outline flower die through my machine and layered this over the stamped flower image. To create a difference to the centre of the flowers, I cut another outline die cut of Copper Foil and trimmed the centre of them. I lined the centres up and adhered them to the middle of the blooms. A heat embossed sentiment with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Basic Black Cardstock was added to my card. The ends of the sentiment were trimmed and raised up with Dimensionals.
For my second card, I started off with an embossed piece of Whisper White Cardstock with my Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. I daubed the background with Pool Party Ink and layered it over a piece of Basic Black Cardstock at an angle. I took the Many Layered Blossoms Dies and cut the inner flower with Whisper White Cardstock. I then took some Copper Foil and cut the outside layer. As the centre of the flowers popped out with the die cut, I cut small pieces of Basic Black Cardstock and put them behind the centre of the blooms.
I then heat embossed the sentiment (also from the Blossoms In Bloom Stamp Set) with Versamark and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I had a Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding bow siting on my desk, so this was added along with three Flowers For Every Season Gems.
I hope you like what I’ve created with this bundle. I know you’re going to love what the team have made. The next person on the hop is the very talented Nina Waldschmidt. Click here to take you to her blog or click on the button below.

Beautiful cards. The one with the copper foil outline is my favorite. TFS
Both cards are so pretty. Thanks for the inspiration.
I like the way you’ve showed off playing around with the same colours and set to get different looks. Lovely cards, Narelle.
So pretty Narelle. I love the copper in combination with the blue
Gorgeous cards Narelle! Love all the layers and the gorgeous colour combo! Super pretty! Rochelle xo
Your cards show off these dies in an entirely different way – they are absolutely stunning.
