Bloom and Grow in Petal Pink

Hey Everyone

Bloom and Grow Stamp Set hasn’t seen ink a while, so I decided to give it some love over the weekend.  The flowers and leaves I’ve added to my card are actually one strip of flowers that I trimmed and separated. I’m ashamed to say that this image has never seen ink until this card!

After stamping the image in Black Memento Ink, I gave the flowers a really quick and light colour with my Petal Pink Blends. I then took my Light Smoky Slate Blend and added definition around the centre of the flowers and the lines where the petals meet. The leaves have been coloured with my Granny Apple Green Blends.  I also gave them definition with my Light Smoky Slate Blend.

Behind my layering, I watercoloured the background with Petal Pink Ink.  The Petal Pink embossed DSP circle is from the Parisian Blossoms Designer Series Paper – this paper is soooooo pretty with it’s embossed script. The sentiment I’ve added is also from the Bloom and Grow Stamp Set. I die cut this sentiment with a Stitched Nested Label Die. I then added three Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish off my card as they tie in with the DSP and because I can’t resist them!

Hope you like what I’ve created!

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

Narelle

  1. This is so pretty!! I love the pretty flowers you created. The sentiment is so pretty against the pattern paper circle. Great design.
