Hey Everyone
My craft room needs cleaning but instead of cleaning, I negotiated with it and just cleaned the immediate desk space I needed to create a couple of cards today….
The Painted Poppies Stamp Set was given a workout but instead of red poppies, I coloured them purple. Purple Posy Blends and Highland Heather Blends were the colours I chose. The leaves have been lightly coloured with the Light Soft Sea Foam Blend.
The background of my card was watercoloured with Highland Heather Ink and an Aqua Painter. The ink splatters, also from the Painted Poppies Stamp Set, have been stamped in Black Memento Ink. The sentiment I added to my card is from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set. I like this sentiment for my cards as it is quite general and can be used for a wedding card, anniversary card or even a special birthday.
Lastly, the black circle I’ve used in my layering is an embossed circle that pops out of one of the many sheets of fabulous die cuts in the Peaceful Poppies Elements. I watched a facebook live by my friend Paula Dobson yesterday and she reminded me that I had these elements and haven’t used them in a while.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle

Beautiful card. Love all the layers and splatters, and especially your purple poppies. TFS
What a pretty card! Love the use of purples in place of the usual reds!
