Hey Everyone
It’s time for another Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team Hop.
Sale-A-Bration is an exciting time of the year—and it just got even better with more fantastic products to
earn! More products mean more creative possibilities to experiment with! Sale-A-Bration would have to be my favourite time of year. For every AU$90 I spend from the Annual Catalogue or the January – June Mini Catalogue, I earn a free Sale-A-Bration item! Who wouldn’t love free product just for doing what I normally do? Spending is pretty easy with the current catalogues we have.
The card I created on the left has been made with the following items from the Mini Catalogue:
- Dressed To Impress Stamp Set $31.00.
- Best Dressed 6″ x 6″ .Designer Series Paper $20.00
- Best Dressed Tassels $14.00
- Thick Whisper White Cardstock $14.25
- Petal Pink Cardstock $15.25
- Petal Pink Ink $13.00.
By buying these products and spending AU$90, you then qualify for a Sale-A-Bration item free. You can choose your free item from the first or second Sale-A-Bration brochure.
To create my card, I stamped one of the background stamps from the Dressed To Impress Stamp Set with Petal Pink Ink. I then fussy cut a combination of flowers and perfume bottles from the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper. The sentiment I’ve added to my card is from the Dressed To Impress Stamp Set also. The sentiment has been stamped in Black Memento Ink. I added a strip of Petal Pink Cardstock under the sentiment to tie all the colours together. One of the Best Dressed Tassels finished off my card.
For my second card I added a flower from the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper. This pack of DSP is the item that I earned free for spending $90 before 31st March. As you can see, I fussy cut the flower and leaves directly from one of the papers. This pack of DSP is perfect for the avid crafter! The images and patterns on this DSP are perfect for adding colour to. You can sponge, brayer, daub or use your Blends like I’ve done.
The flower is coloured with my Petal Pink Blends and the little buds are coloured with my Calypso Coral Blends. I gave the leaves some colour with both of my Old Olive Blends. The bottle of perfume is from the Dressed To Impress Stamp Set. It’s been coloured with my Petal Pink Blends and Smoky Slate Blends. You can’t quite see it in the photo, but I also gave some glitter to the lid of the bottle with my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. I had one fussy cut bloom left over from my first project, so I added it to near the lid of the bottle. To be consistent, and to tie it in with my first card, I added a Best Dressed Tassel to my perfume bottle.
Dont forget! The Sale-A-Bration earning period ends on March 31, 2020. To get your hands on these products, make sure you get your order in by then.
