Hey Everyone
There’s a new challenge at Freshly Made Sketches! This week our sketch designer is the fabulously talented Cecile Ribon. I LOVE this sketch and wished that I could design one as cool as this!
Something I haven’t done until recently, is fussy cut my DSP. I have always been a hoarder of DSP and only used it sparingly. Many of the SU paper packs have perfectly coloured images that are made for cutting out. Bird Ballad DSP is one of those packs that has amazing images to cut and adhere directly to a card. The banner pieces I’ve used in the background on my card are also from this pack. I raised the three banner pieces with Dimensionals and added some Linen Thread around them. I then tied a Linen Thread bow amongst the flowers – hopefully you can see it.
The only stamping I did on this card is the sentiment. The sentiment is from the Free As A Bird Stamp Set. This really was a quick and easy card and came together in no time.
The team at Freshly Made Sketches have created wonderful cards to inspire. Head over to the challenge and see what they’ve created.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
