Hey Everyone
It’s that time where the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team are hopping! This month the products we are featuring are from the Peaceful Poppies Suite. I adore ALL of the products in this suite and was able to put my projects together as soon as I received them. The sentiments I’ve used on all of my projects are from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set that comes in the suite – or you can buy all of these products individually.
My first card has been layered with these gorgeous papers from the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper pack. The colours in these papers became the colour combination for my projects. After angling the papers, I added the basic black embossed circle from the Peaceful Poppies Elements. The embossed pieces from this pack are the perfect addition when you want to add an elegant element without having to get out your embossing powers and heat tool.
My flowers are from the Painted Poppies Stamp Set. I gave them some ink by watercolouring them lightly with Rich Razzleberry Ink. I took my Daffodil Delight Blends and added some colour to the centre of the poppies. Under the poppies, I added some Mossy Meadow and Pear Pizzazz leaves cut with my Poppies Moments Dies. I also cut some Whisper White and Rich Razzleberry die cuts from other dies in the Poppies Moments Dies to layer behind my poppies.
The second card I created uses the same Rich Razzleberry DSP from Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper. I added an embossed trim from the Peaceful Poppies Elements. I really love the effect this piece of edging gives my card. It matches the embossed circle that I’ve used on this card too. I added some more poppies and leaves and three sequins from the Peaceful Poppies Sequins.
For my last project, I created some tags that I attached to a 6″ x 8″ Cellophane Bag filled with chocolates. The tags are made from the matching DSP to my cards and Whisper White Cardstock. Both of these tags have been trimmer/hand cut and are attached to the bag with the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding. I added an edgelit and a strip of Basic Black Cardstock and layered my poppy and leaves together with the sentiment.
I hope you’ve enjoyed what I’ve created. The team have designed amazing projects that will wow you! The next hop along the way is the talented Nina Waldschmidt. Click here to take you to her blog or on the button below.
