Hey Everyone
Love a sketch challenge? I do and especially when it’s designed by me! Actually that’s not tue, I always stress when it’s my turn. I overthink it and make it harder than what it needs to be. The sketch I’ve designed is for the latest challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.
Here’s my sketch:
I’m continuing to add to my Christmas card stash and have created the following card for an upcoming card class.
I’ve created my card using the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set and Beautiful Boughs Dies. I love me some layers, so I’ve layered my card with some DSP from Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper, a strip of Real Red Ribbon and a strip of Soft Suede Cardstock. Those leftover strips come in handy for my layering.
The pine cones have been stamped in Soft Suede Ink and Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink. My sentiment has also been stamped with this Metallic Ink. The Garden Green Cardstock leaves have been cut with my dies and the background has been stamped with ink splatters in Soft Suede Ink.
The team at Freshly Made Sketches have created cards that make my sketch look awesome! Head over to the challenge and see what they’ve created.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
So love this sketch, Narelle. It makes me wish I wasn’t on holiday so I could play with it!
Wow, Narelle! What a stunning card! There’s no doubt that you are as talented for Christmas cards as your are for floral scenes. Tthanks for this great sketch. I Ioved playing with it and I’m pretty sure I will use it again.
This is a beauty! You are the master at layers – and these have got color, texture, and beautiful image galore! I love it!
