Morning Magnolia Thrown Together

Hey Everyone

On the weekend I decided I’m the messy cardmaker ever.  Some of the Artisan Design Team filmed their craft spaces for us to view – which were totally amazing by the way.  I was in awe.  My room however, was totally putrid and I was too embarrassed to show it.  A clean up then followed……for about 1/2 hour and then I got bored.  So instead of putting things away, I decided to create a card from a magnolia image I had laying on my desk as well as some DSP cut offs.  That was much for fun than cleaning! Cleaning can wait for another day right?

The rectangles of designer series paper I used are from Garden Lane DSP and Woven Threads DSP.  The amazing magnolia image is from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set.  I gave the petals colour with my Petal Pink and Crumb Cake Blends and the centre with Daffodil Delight Blends.  The leaves have been coloured with my Mint Macaron Blends.

The sentiment I’ve used is also from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set. I added a strip of Sahara Sand Cardstock and a piece of Very Vanilla 3/8″ Scalloped Lace Trim. Pretty quick and easy as I already had everything stamped, cut out and ready to go.

Here’s the card I created:

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

Narelle

  1. You are the Queen of Gorgeous! I love your cards! Your layering is subtle but really allows the focal image to shine! So much more fun to make cards than clean the craft room!

  2. You might say you’re messy Narelle, but your results are anything but! I love your soft colours and of course the magnolia is beautiful.
