Hey Everyone
The 2019 Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team are hopping again today. We have beautiful products to show you from the Perennial Essence Suite.
Perennial Essence Stamp Set consists of gorgeous flowers and leaves. One of the things that I love about the flowers in this stamp set is that there are flower petals that can be punched out with the matching Perennial Flower Punch, flowers with a solid image and flowers that are perfect for watercoloring. I’ve created cards with each of the different flowers for you to see.
The first card has flowers on it that were made by stamping the image twice, giving them a light colour with Bermuda Bay Ink and then punching them out with my Perennial Flower Punch. I then adhered them together at different angles to create the flower. The centre of the flowers were given a watercolour with Crushed Curry Ink. The larger leaves were stamped with Smoky Slate Ink and these were punched out with my Leaf Punch. The smaller leaves were given a light watercolour with Bermuda Bay Ink. The DSP I’ve added to the background is from Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper. I am totally in love with the Petal Pink 5/8″ Organdy Striped Ribbon, so I made sure I added some to my card. The sentiment I’ve used is also from this stamp set – it really makes me smile when I read this.
The next card I created has a background created with my Tin Tiled Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder. I brayered Petal Pink Ink over the folder before embossing. The flowers I’ve used on this card are the solid image stamp. I actually tried quite a few colours before I settled on Bermuda Bay. I think they’re quite striking in this colour. The centre of the flowers have been stamped in Crushed Curry. I’ve used the same leaves and ribbon as my previous card and added some Basic Pearls.
My final card showcases the largest flower image and one that I like to watercolour. Again I’ve used Bermuda Bay Ink and Crushed Curry Ink for the centre of the flower. For consistency to my cards, I’ve added the same leaves and the ribbon as my previous cards. The main feature on this card is the pretty DSP in the background. This gorgeousness comes from Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the cards I’ve shared today. I know you’re going to love what the whole team have created. To continue on the hop, click on the next button below to take you to my super crafty friend, Rochelle Blok’s, blog.
