Hey Everyone
This weeks sketch at Freshly Made Sketches has been designed by the super talented Kim Singdahlsen. I used her fab sketch to design a 1st birthday card for my great-nephew Cooper.
I’ve had Animal Outing sitting on my bookcase waiting to be inked up for a while now. I knew straight away that it would be perfect for lil Coopy boy and his birthday card. It turned out to be super perfect as my niece organised a jungle themed birthday party and my card fit the theme – without me even knowing the theme!
I gave each of the animals a quick colour (and a mean a very quick watercolour) and punched out the images to fit the circles from the sketch. The embossed sentiment is also from this stamp set. I fussy cut the sentiment and layered each one next to an animal. I added some strips of Smoky Slate and Mossy Meadow Cardstocks. I then added a Mossy Meadow leaf and some Linen Thread to finish off my card. In the end it was a really quick and easy to create.
The team at Freshly Made Sketches has designed awesome cards using this weeks sketch. Head over to the challenge and take a look.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
