Freshly Made Sketches #389

Hey Everyone

We have a new sketch for you to play along with at Freshly Made Sketches. It’s my turn to be sketch designer and I always overthink it when it comes to designing my card……I swear I always take twice as long to come up with a card that I’m happy with!

You can probably sense how excited I was when Perennial Essence hit my craft room. Gorgeous flowers that are made watercolouring and solid flower stamps ready to be inked up with your favourite colour.

I’ve lightly coloured the largest flower with Powder Pink Ink and fussy cut the flower out.  I then inked up the medium sized flower with Flirty Flamingo Ink.  The leaves are inked up with Mint Macaron Ink and punched out with my Leaf Punch.  The stamped leaves have been watercoloured with Mint Macaron Ink.  The centre of the flowers is stamped with Soft Suede Ink, fussy cut out and adhered to the flowers with Dimensionals.  I then inked up this sentiment from Perennial Essence with Black Memento Ink

For the background, I daubed Powder Pink Ink  so it gave the flowers a bed of colour surrounding them.  I then took the ink splatters stamp from Swirly Bird and added some Black Memento Ink splashes.

As always, the team at Freshly Made Sketches have created awesome cards using my sketch. They really nail every sketch, every week – why don’t you pop over to the challenge and take a look.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

Narelle
