Hey Everyone
We have a new sketch for you to play along with at Freshly Made Sketches. I was in love with this fabulous sketch from the very talented Cecile Ribon as soon as I saw it.
Sailing Home Suite is an amazing suite full of fabulous images, great embellishments and wonderful papers. Sailing Home Stamp Set is perfect for those masculine cards with so many useful images and sentiments. I’ve chosen the compass and anchor to use on my card. The compass has been stamped in Night of Navy Ink and the anchor in Soft Suede ink. I took a piece of Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine and tied a knot under the anchor. I then placed the twine under my sentiment (also from Sailing Home), looped it around my card and adhered with glue dots. I then punched a Night of Navy Cardstock circle and added this really cool embellishment from Sail Away Trinkets. The three strips of DSP I’ve placed in the background are from Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper.
This turned out to be a really quick card – perfect for a card class with only a little stamping, but it still has the fullness I like in a card.
The Clean Team at Freshly Made Sketches have created awesome inspiration with Cecile’s sketch. Head over to the challenge and take a look. We would love it if you could play along with our sketch.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
