Just Add Ink #413

Hey Everyone

We have a new challenge for you today at Just Add Ink.  Our challenge this week is a colour challenge. Take a look at the pretty colours we have for you to try:

I’ve combed these colours mostly in the foliage I’ve used and the bird I’ve coloured.  You would probably know by now that Petal Palette is my favourite stamp set, but for this card I’ve chosen the leaves, birds and the flowers stems rather than the roses I normally use.  My flowers are watercoloured with a combination of Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist Inks.  I’ve added Bermuda Bay on my card with some cardstock in the background.  I then added Granny Apple Green in my leaves that were stamped off once on scrap paper and then on my Whisper White cardstock. My bird is watercoloured with Pacific Point and Bermuda Bay Inks.  The sentiment I’ve used on my card is also from Petal Palette. I’ve stamped this in Pacific Point Ink.

Here’s my card:

The team at Just Add Ink have created cards that are gorgeous and all are so very different.  Pop over to Just Add Ink and see for yourself.  We would love it if you could play along.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Like Tina, I’m amazed how you used Narelle magic to soften that bold colour combination. Lovely layering using Petal Palette too. You & Jo need to run the PP fan club. #biggestfans 😀

  2. Such a soft and elegant use of the colours Narelle! Your colouring is so beautiful and I love how you’ve used the not so commonly used images from the set too. Stunning! xx
