Freshly Made Sketches #340

Hey Everyone

Welcome to my blog!

It’s Wednesday and that means we have a new sketch for you to play along with at Freshly Made Sketches.  Our sketch designer this week is the wonderfully talented Karren Johnson.

I received some new Stampin’ Up! goodies in time for this weeks sketch. Other than a little green/blue box with a white ribbon, a Stampin’ Up! box is my next favourite box to receive.  The leaves on my card are from a new stamp set that is now available in the 2018-2019 Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalogue.  I know I will be using this set a lot – it’s called Rooted in Nature.  I stamped the leaves in Soft Sea Foam and Mossy Meadow Inks.

The sentiment I have used on my card is also from this set.  The background watercolour stamp is from a set called Love What You Do.  I stamped the background with Soft Sea Foam Ink. I can definitely see this is going to be a favourite colour of mine!

Under my sentiment I added a strip of Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon and Black Cord.  I then finished off my card with three Black Faceted Dots.  It’s so much fun to create when you have new goodies!

The team have created gorgeous cards with Karren’s sketch.  Pop over to Freshly Made Sketches and take a look.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. This is gorgeous, Narelle! I love the detail on these leaves, and I agree that Soft Sea Foam will be a much loved color. Have fun with your new goodies! I can’t wait to see what you chose and what you make with them.

  2. Those leaves are gorgeous and you’ve arranged them perfectly on your card. The pop of the razzleberry colour is so appealing (and I’m not usually a fan of that colour!)

  3. This card is just divine Narelle! I love those leaves and the pops of colour and the ribbon, and well, pretty much everything! I love getting makeup boxes just as much as I love getting SU boxes!!! I have a problem!!!!
