Just Add Ink #409

Hey Everyone

We have a new challenge at Just Add Ink for you.  This week is a fun technique challenge.  Our challenge for you is to:

I’m a newbie at the Eclipse Technique. In fact this is my first Eclipse card.  For my card I chose to make a wedding card using Perennial Birthday Stamp Set and a congrats die from Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies.  I’ve given my flowers a light watercolour with Dapper Denim Ink and my leaves are watercoloured with Old Olive Ink.

I love the cards the team at Just Add Ink have created.  Head over to the challenge and take a look.  We would love it if you could play along with us and show us your creations.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Love your Eclipse Card Narelle! A fantastic first Eclipse!! Love that the stamping and the die cutting is concetrated to the bottom part of the card and then the white space makes for a fresh and CAS look! Beautiful card! Rochelle xo

  2. I’m trying to work out what the Eclipse Technique is? I guess it’s what I know as camouflaged die-cuts? Regardless, your card is gorgeous!

  3. I like your eclipse card, Narelle! The way your stamped your image so that the first part of the sentiment is easily seen allowed you to use a “busy” stamped image on the right where the eclipsed word is more difficult to read, without inhibiting the message from being understood. I like that idea a lot! -Donna
