Hey Everyone
Welcome to a new challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. This week our sketch has been designed by Cecile Ribon, our wonderfully talented friend from France.
I love me a flower card – can you tell? As soon as I saw Cecile’s fabulous sketch, I automatically visualised a feminine floral card. It’s hard for me not to with all the pretty floral stamp sets Stampin’ Up! have! The stamp set I’ve used on my card is called Graceful Garden. The roses are lightly watercoloured with Real Red Ink and then I used my Real Red watercolour pencil to add depth to the petals. The leaves were given the same treatment with Old Olive Ink and Old Olive watercolour pencil.
The sentiment was cut on my big shot with my Happy Birthday Thinlits Dies . The designer series paper in the background is from a retired pack called Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper. I just loved the black and white criss-cross pattern behind the roses, as I think it really shows them off.
Here’s my card:
The team have created gorgeous cards using Cecile’s sketch. Why don’t you head over to Freshly Made Sketches and take a look?
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
