Freshly Made Sketches #320

Hey Everyone

Oh my goodness! I’m in total holiday mode and have absolutely no idea what day it is – hence me forgetting to schedule my post last night for the new sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.  This weeks cool sketch has been designed by the fabulously talented Kim Singdahlsen.

It’s been a while since I created a card for a wedding.  In fact I found none in my stash….  I channelled my inner Cecile with this card.  Cecile has the most creative way of using dies and layering them to perfection.  I gave it a go with my Stampin’ Up! Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies.  The stamp set is a new one to me – it’s called Perennial Birthday.  The flowers in this set are so easy to add a smidge of colour and then just as easy to fussy cut.  The sentiment I’ve used is also from the same stamp set.

The team have created gorgeous inspiration for you.  Head over to Freshly Made Sketches and take a look at their pretty cards.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. I can see Cecile’s influence here with your tilted layers. 🙂 Love how you’ve done that and added some colorful DSP along with those fab flowers. I bet you don’t hear this often, but this is a great CAS card!!!

  2. Wow ! Narelle! Love your card so much ! Your “inner Cécile” 🙂 is totally rocked by your fabulous flowers! I definitely would need to channel my inner Narelle to create such a beautiful floral card.

  3. This is gorgeous, Narelle! I love the little bit of blue dsp and the angled squares. And of course, your fussy cut flowers are gorgeous. Now I’m off to see just what set they are from, as I’m not sure I’ve ever noticed them before.

  4. Just look at this!!! You can plan on saving it until September for me, ok??!!! Love it so much!! A little Cécile looks good with a Narelle flair!!
