Hey Everyone
We have a new challenge at Just Add Ink for you. This week we are asking you to:
I went with another Christmas card as I found it easy to add glitter to a Christmas card. My glitter comes in the form of glitter on my glimmer paper as well as some glitter highlights on my trees. The trees I used are cut with my Card Front Builder Thinlits. I added dobs of glue to my trees and then sprinkled some retired SU glitter and let them dry.
The DSP I’ve used is from Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper. The wonderful big sentiment I’ve used on my card is from Stampin’ Up!s Flurry of Wishes. This sentiment works so well on the large circle I punched. I then added some glimmer paper offcuts and some Striped Ribbon. There’s a reason I keep my glimmer offcuts – it’s for times like these when I want to use just a smidge of glimmer! I’ve learnt not to throw tiny bits away.
The team have created gorgeous projects to inspire you. Head over to Just Add Ink and see what they’ve created!
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
As you can tell from my project, this colour combination is a big fave and your design is great Narelle! As always you’ve created another lovely card. xx
I love how you balanced the sentiment with the tree cluster and deer Narelle, then grounded them all with that gorgeous striped ribbon. I hoard all my glimmer scraps too! xxx
LOVE your glittery stripe on the striped ribbon with that lovely scene!
This is gorgeous Narelle! I love how your glittery trees combined with the DSP and splash of glimmer paper really pop against your black and white details – so elegant! xx
Stunning card Narelle. Love the glittery snow on the trees.
