Hey Everyone
Time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. This week our sketch hostess is the fabulously talented Jen Mitchell. Jen is not only an amazing cardmaker but she also designs wonderful sketches – I fell in love with this one as soon as I saw it.
Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper is one of my favs at the moment. I almost reach for it every time I go to create a card. I couldn’t go past it this time as I knew that I wanted to use these gorgeous flowers from Graceful Garden again that I had already stamped, watercoloured with Powder Pink and Flirty Flamingo Ink, fussy cut and had just found laying on my desk. I consider using them on my card as partly cleaning up my mess of a desk. Imagine how much messier it would’ve been if I had left them on my desk…….
The leaves were also found laying on my desk. These leaves are from a Stampin’ Up! set called Remarkable You and are watercoloured with Old Olive Ink. I really like the size of these leaves paired with the roses. They also look like they belong together. The sentiment I’ve used is from Colorful Seasons and is stamped in Basic Black Archival Ink.
Here’s my card:
We would love it if you could join us for this weeks challenge. Head over to Freshly Made Sketches and take a look at the wonderful inspiration the design team have provided.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
It doesn’t surprise me that not only do you make gorgeous flowers, but that you’re also a pro at mixing and matching flower sets. I love these leaves with the roses. Everything about this card is just gorgeous, Narelle!
Well I wish I had gorgeous flowers and leaves just hanging around on my desk! All I have on my desk are scraps and the backs of a zillion dimensionals!
Your card made me smile. It’s beautiful!
This is beautiful! Very eye catching.
Such a delicate and beautiful card 🙂
Oh Narelle! This card is just amazing! I love those roses. They are so beautiful! The colours are perfect too! They look amazing with that background paper!!
There are those amazing flowers of yours again! No one colors them or layers them quite like you! Another beauty!
Beautiful, soft and feminine card, Narelle! Those flowers look amazing!
