Hey Everyone
Do you ever get stuck on where to start with a card? Whenever I do, I head to my favourite sketch or colour challenges and join in. The card I made today was for the sketch challenge at The Paper Players.
Here’s Jaydee’s great sketch:
I received lots of new Stampin’ Up! goodies a couple of weeks ago and love that when I’m sitting in my craft room, I have heaps of new products to choose from. It’s hard to know where to start!
The flowers I’ve used on my card are stamped with Oh So Eclectic stamp set and then I’ve used the coordinating dies – Eclectic Layers Thinlits Dies. I didn’t realise until I opened the set that there are so many useful dies in there! The sentiment I’ve used is from Big on Birthdays – it’s kind of my go-to sentiment at the moment.
The strip of designer series paper in the background is Petal Garden Designer Series Paper Stack. There are so many pretty designs in this pack.
Here’s my card:
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
Oh Narelle, such pretty layeredness! Lovely colours and a real showcase for this set, which I’m dithering about getting. I think you’ve bumped it up my wish list! I agree with you completely about the sentiment from Big on BIrthdays – it’s the most inked up in my set, anyway. Thanks so much for sharing this beauty with us at The Paper Players.
Narelle, this is gorgeous! I love the pink and green color palette and those blooms are beautiful! SO happy you joined us at The Paper Players this week! XX
This is gorgeous – love you how built it up with flowers and ribbon and a sentiment strip. I LOVE the little light green die – it would never have occurred to me to do a different shape and color but it accents it perfectly!
