Just Add Ink #362

Hey Everyone

We have a new challenge at Just Add Ink for you:

When I saw these colours, I wasn’t sure what kind of card I was going to make.  In the end I decided to keep a lot of white space and use the colours for my flowers and leaves.  I was really pleased how the card came together by keeping it simple.

I’ve used my favourite flowers from Penned & Painted on my card – so sad it’s retired (sniff).  I love them stamped in Peekaboo Peach and paired with Bermuda Bay leaves.  The centre of flower is coloured in black but I didn’t love that look so I added some white dots with my white gel pen.  I really like this effect and I think it makes the centre of the flowers pop.  To add Pool Party to my card, I stamped the leaves from Jar of Love directly to my card base.  I also used a strip of Pool Party cardstock and Pool Party Bakers Twine.  The sentiment I’ve used is from Blooms and Wishes.  The little sequin is actually Bermuda Bay but for some reason it’s photographed black….

Here’s my card:

The team at Just Add Ink have created gorgeous cards to inspire you. Head over to Just Add Ink and take a look.  We would love it if you could play along with us.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

Narelle

  1. Such a beautiful send-off for that set!! It is a gorgeous set and I love what you do with it. And what a great use of the color combo. That is not the direction I would have gone with peach and bermuda but it is absolutely lovely – (I’d love it if you passed along a bit of your creativity!)
