Freshly Made Sketches #285

Hey Everyone

Who’s ready for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches? Me! I really do love Amy O’Neill’s sketches. Her cards are just as amazing! I may have added one or two more shapes than the sketch, but I had to have bunch of flowers and leaves to go with them!

My weekends are usually spent cleaning, grocery shopping, washing and more cleaning.  My son helped me out this weekend with all the boring stuff, so I was able to spend a little more time in my craft room colouring.  The flowers and leaves from Stampin’ Up!s Penned and Painted are my favourite to colour. The designer series paper I have used is Pop of Pink Specialty DSP.

The design team at Freshly Made Sketches are going to wow you with their cards. Head over to Freshly Made Sketches and take a look.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. I think your “one or two more shapes” are just the thing that makes this so beautiful. You layer your floral images so perfectly I think I need a lesson! The colors are fabulous too!

  2. Narelle, this card is so pretty! I just love those gorgeous flowers! The Pop of Pink DSP is one of my favs! You’ve tied everything together perfectly!

  3. I have to admit that I’ve never noticed that stamp set until your beautiful card! You’ve colored them beautifully – and they pop with the bold chevrons and sentiment!

  4. Okay, so I had to read your post twice to check I’d read it properly. Your son helped you with housework? Was there bribery involved, because no way would my kids voluntarily help with housework 🙂 But onto your card – just gorgeous, as always, and so beautifully detailed.
