Hey Everyone
It’s Wednesday, so that means a new sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. I’m the sketch hostess this week and I designed a simple sketch for you – without my usual layers.
Can anyone else believe that Christmas is only around the corner? As I don’t tend to make the same card twice, I’m struggling to have enough cards to send out. For my card today, I created a wreath by cutting out a circle to use as a mask and then stamped the leaves from Jar of Love in Pool Party and Smoky Slate. I then cut a sentiment from Christmas Greetings and some leaves and pine cones from Perfect Pines Thinlits Dies. The berries were made from the tiny circles from the Cookie Cutter Punch – they are little buggers to stick down!
Here’s my card:
The Design Team have created gorgeous cards to inspire you. Head over Freshly Made Sketches and take a look.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
Lovely, light and Beautiful!
This is a genius way to make a wreath! Love how it turned out! And I am in the same boat you are with holiday cards……hate to make multiples! Thanks for the fun sketch!
I love the clever way you’ve made this wreath! The berries may have been a pain, but they totally make the card. Love the card and the sketch, Narelle!
Love this and thanks for the details. Great card!
This is such a pretty card, Narelle and your sketch is fabulous! I don’t like making more than one of a card either, but had to cave last weekend and made 12 the same, just to try and catch up!
I love how you created this! Ingenious!
Wow Narelle! Such a beautiful card! I do love this gorgeous wreath! It’s so clever to make it using the masking technique !!!
Love, love this wreath!! What pretty colors too. Fabulous sketch this week!
Oh, love the this card Narelle! The background is beautiful! Love that wreath! Looks gorgeous with the pinecones! Love the colours! So pretty for Christmas!
Love how you did the wreath. And this color combo is so beautiful for a Christmas card. I think I might have to break down and mass produce a few Christmas cards so that I have enough!
