Hey Everyone
The card I’m sharing today is for our newest sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. Our sketch designer is the super talented Rita Wright – here’s her great sketch:
I’ve had Stampin’ Up!s Christmas Magic sitting on my desk unopened for a few weeks. I thought this weeks sketch was perfect for the train to get inked up and lightly watercoloured. While I was at it, I also watercoloured the candy cane sign post. Pretty proud of myself that I’ve now started making my Christmas cards. How are you going with yours?
Here’s what I came up with:
Our team has created wonderful inspiration for you. Head over to Freshly Made Sketches and take a look.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers

Lovelovelove this train! So beautiful for Christmas! And I have five cards made….lol….
Hi Narelle!
Your take is so pretty, a timeless Beauty really!
Thanks~
Oh my goodness, I just love this train! You have used it brilliantly! That little pop of color is wonderful.
This set with the train was my favourite and I’m very tempted to buy it! You’ve created an amazing card with it! The white embossed sentiment really makes everything pop.
I’m so glad you got this set because I knew you would do beautiful things with it. I love how you’ve added subtle little touches of color and cut it out so it trails off the focal base. Fabulous card, Narelle!
This is such a great card Narelle! I just love that train! It’s so festive! Love how you’ve added colour! So pretty! Perfect for Christmas!
Wow, that train is awesome! I love how you’ve given those images just a hint of color. And once again you are given the Queen of Fussy Cutting award!
What an amazing vintage Christmas card! Your image is nothing but a fussy cutting master piece.
