Hey Everyone
We have hit a pretty big milestone challenge at Just Add Ink this week. It our 300th challenge! Because we’ve hit this special number, we are giving away prizes for our winners.
I decided to flip the sketch for my card and once again I’ve used one of my favourite colour combos – Basic Black, Hello Honey & Whisper White (this time I added a bit of Smoky Slate). I ran some Vellum and Hello Honey cardstock through my big shot to create the butterfly and I stamped Timeless Textures in the background. I then heat embossed the sentiment from Stampin’ Up!s Four You in white embossing powder. Here’e my card:
Come and join in our special celebration at Just Add Ink. Our team has created wonderful inspiration for you so head over to the challenge and check out their cards!
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
What a gorgeous take on the sketch.
Beautiful card. Love the colors and the pretty butterfly.
I really like how you anchored the butterfly under the sentiment Narelle – really effective and looks great and how all the different DSP patterns add so much detail and colour! xxx
I love this combo of colors and what you did with it!!!
Beautiful card Narelle, the colours go together so well.
Great take on the sketch! Love this card, Narelle!
Love that you too flipped the sketch, and it’s a great take on it too – unlike my very literal version lol. A beautiful combination of colours. Your layered flags look fabbo. xx
Such a pretty colour combo and I love how your sentiment is placed over your butterfly layers. The vellum, lovely patterns and layers of colour add such a lovely fresh feel! Xx
This is so fresh & clean at first look, then as usual I realise there are so many lovely details to keep me looking, Narelle – the little group of banners, the speckles, the patterns & the colours etc – all working beautifully & prefectly together as always. You make it look so very easy.
D 🙂
The way you’ve flipped the sketch looks great Narelle and as always your colours and details are fab..Love the hint of gold too! xx
SO pretty Narelle! I think we had similar thoughts this week to use the butterflies! The black, yellow, grey and white colour combo is so soft and pretty and I love that you turned the sketch! Just gorgeous! Rochelle xo
