ColourQ Challenge #324 & Retro Sketches #197

Hey Everyone

I ventured into my craft room today because the temperature’s only going to get to 19deg rather than the 43deg it got to yesterday.  I’m hoping that as the weather is going to be cooler for the next couple of days, I might actually get up the energy to try and organise my room and de-clutter the mess that it is…

The card I’m sharing today is combined for two challenges – -the colour challenge at ColourQ and the sketch challenge at Retro Sketches.  Here are their inspiration pics:

I tried out my new Stampin’ Up! Botanical Blooms stamp set today.  Even though it comes with thinlits, I still fussy cut the leaves and flowers.  The sentiment I’ve used is from another new stamp set called Birthday Blooms.  I really love the flower in this set and am hoping to get a chance to colour it soon.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Being in the US I had to use my Celsius to Fahrenheit calculator to understand the temperature difference between the two days and all I can say is WOW! I don’t know about you, but I prefer the 43! I love the heat! And I love your card! The flowers and leaves are so gorgeous!

  2. Such fun polka dots and beautiful flowers on this card. I had to smile about your fussy cutting–sometimes I fussy cut when I forget I have the dies. Thanks so much for playing along at ColourQ.
