Hey Everyone
Time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. This week Cindy Lovell is our hostess. Cindy creates the most gorgeous cards. I would love to see her craft room along with my stamping friend from NZ, Karren Johnson, as I don’t think I see them use the same set twice!
I am in love with stars at the moment and I love using this star stamp from a Stampin’ Up! Christmas set called Bright and Beautiful. I think it works well for non-Christmas cards too. I dragged out my crimper to give the black star some texture and then I added some star sequins. The sentiment is from Celebrate Today. Here’s my card:
Our team has created wonderful inspiration for you – head over to FreshlyMade Sketches and check them out.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
Love this, cuz! Way to stretch your stamps and make them work for other occasions!
I love that star as well! Works perfectly for a birthday! And I love the soft blue with the b/w!
Looks great Narelle!!!
Narelle, your card is just amazing!! You rocked this Sketch! I love…love the squares, patterns and beautiful stars!!
You do NOT wanne see my craft room!! hahaha It’s just a tiny small corner in our livingroom, and it’s getting smaller and smaller with each stamp set!! haha
Ooh, the crimper! I love that tool and it doesn’t ever get the attention it deserves! And I love your starry card!
Hee hee you are welcome to visit my craft room any time, although I promise I do use some sets more than once 🙂 Your card is so beautifully layered yet still so clean. The black and white with the pop of colour is such a cool look.
This is a fabulous Birthday card! It’s so festive and a great look for a celebration! I love the layers, textures and the pop of color against the neutrals. Awesome design, as always!
I love how you’ve used the sketch with this! And I love the little pop of pretty blue against the black and white card. Beautifully done, Narelle!
Yeah, I’m in love with stars too because you are making me fall in love! Wonderful!
