Just Add Ink #282 & The Paper Players #264

Hey Everyone

We have a new challenge for you at Just Add Ink.  This week is inspiration picture week. I can’t wait to see what you create with these great colours.

If I’m ever stuck with how I’m going to combine colours, I always look for a sketch to guide me. I found this fab sketch over at The Paper Players.

Initially I was going to create some rosette type decorations to try and match the decorations in the inspiration pic but soon realised I have no clue how to make them, so I scrapped that idea and went with balloons from Stampin’ Up!s Celebrate Today.  Here’s my card:

As always our team has provided wonderful inspiration for you. Head over to Just Add Ink and take a look.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Narelle, this is such a fantastic birthday card! I love the color comb and the curly twine is a perfect embellishment! You certainly made my sketch shine at The Paper Players! Thanks for joining us! XX

  2. Thanks for a fab lot of inspiration lovely! Your card is as always beautifully presented and those fabulous big bold balloons are great! xx

  3. Brilliant birthday card, Narelle. So modern & fun, with your usual flair with patterned paper & fun details. Pinning this for later! I laughed when you mentioned rosettes as I had exactly the same thought & response too.
    Hugs, D

  4. Brilliant card and just love those big balloons. Its funny but the one thing that stands out to me is the way you have made the balloon strings all squiggly. Now thats attention to detail, love it!!
