Freshly Made Sketches #155

Hey Everyone

Wednesday’s bring us a new sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.  This week the fabulously talented Jennifer Brum is our hostess.  She creates such lovely cards with wonderful colour combos – she also creates great sketches.  Here’s this weeks sketch:

I’ve been on a real man card roll but I thought it was time to drag out Flower Fest, a Stampin’ Up! flower stamp set I haven’t used in a while. I know I have Rich Razzleberry ribbon somewhere in my craft room but as my room is an utter mess and it was hiding on me – I decided to forgo the ribbon and drew some lines with my Rich Razzleberry marker.  I also couldn’t find a Rich Razzleberry Candy Dot for the centre of my flower so I coloured a Whisper White one with my Rich Razzleberry blendabilities marker and dried it off with my heat tool. Even though it looks a bit blackish in the photo – in real life it really does look like the perfect match for Rich Razzleberry.

Head over to Freshly Made Sketches and take a look at the wonderful inspiration from the Design Team. We would love for you to join us for this challenge.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

  1. This is so pretty, Narelle! I particularly love how you’ve separated the sentiment from the flowers by using the two lines and pearls – so clever!

  2. Flowers, pearls and a butterfly! I’m in love! So beautiful Narelle! I love those colours and they are so bright and springy! Love your “make shift” ribbon! So creative!

  3. That background is so perfect for these fab flowers! And the penned in line with the pearls is brilliant. Totally CASEing that!
