Just Add Ink #248

Hey Everyone

It’s time for a colour challenge at Just Add Ink.  Take a look at the colour combo we have for you:

I think I’m working out how to combine more than two colours a little more comfortably these days.  I find the best way for me is to start with a white background and then play with the colours until I manage to fit them all in.  One of the things I realised after helping my mum recently with her market is that I don’t have a huge supply of masculine cards.  I create the occasional one here and there but I need to make more of an effort to get her a supply of them.  If only I could repeat a card…. I could create 5 of the same card and have about 5 different designs for her.  It would make sense to do this while I have all the products out, but for some reason I just don’t do it.

Come and join us with this great colour challenge. The design team have created fabulous and varied inspiration for you – take a look here.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. This is a great card! I love your color choices and all the details you have put into this. I am like you in that I rarely make guy cards. Only when needed is my motto:) This is a great one!

  2. Awesome masculine card, love the process of getting all those colors on your card. Really like that cool knot on the compass.

  3. Love todays card. I always need masculine cards too with all the men in my life. I do lots of swaps with other SU demonstrators, so I am used to making cards in multiples. Now I have gotten in the habit of always making at least 4 more, if not for my own stockpile, then for my craft sale stock. I am going on a stamp retreat with friends this weekend. My friend and I were lamenting over what to take to make, and I suggested we work on cards for craft sales that are always sure to sell, like masculine cards, baby, wedding, sympathy, etc. So that’s what I plan to do, and I always make 6 of each, because it’s never too tedious.

  4. I don’t think I’ve ever made a masculine card…isn’t that terrible!! I love this one because even though its maybe for a man, its still subtle with the colouring and stamping. Amazing!

  5. Perfect as always Narelle! Love the use of these colours on a masculine card. But I love that it’s still light and ‘clean’ looking.
